Here's another idea which makes sense, although the idea originates from Gloomington:

How about the coach doing the job he is paid to do! Watching these guys perform night after night, they lack instruction, especially on SIMPLE fundamentals. He is determined to shove this passing game down the throats of kid's whose talents are not suited for that type of ball, crazily running kids in and out of the lineup
like a Chinese fire drill, any simple mistake is punished with bench time immediately ( very clear to me, if you want to stay in the game, don't try hard, therefore you don't make mistakes) . Recruiting? This is Indiana, he has to go to the southwest to RECRUIT GUARDS, especially one who sit on the bench. This is the second coming of Ron Green. Mr. Green's answer on why his team lacked fundamentals was I tell them how to play, they just don't do it.

I've been watching and waiting for 30+ years to see a Sycamore team press the whole game whether it be 1/2, 3/4 or a full court press. If we ever had enough depth to use it now would seem to be the time. What would Morehead State have hated to see more than anything to disrupt their pressure? Overtime for this bunch to get it together or tank another season.
