Let's see. we were 5th with a skeleton team. I think anybody picking us less than 5th cannot be credible.

I fully expect to see us picked there in just about every prognostication. Such is the total lack of respect we get around the Valley - not that we've done that much to overcome it - yet. The thing that really getsme is MSU picked third? Are you kidding me?

Not that these guys need it but that is more bulletin board material for the off season. We will be better than last year. If we can stay injury free we will be a lot better than last year.:sycamores::sycamores:

Take a look at the standings he has:

1. WSU (good pick, imo)
2. CU (a team that was better than it played this year, and one that should benefit from a new face...but 2nd?)
3. MOST (CI.com tournament champs or not...they were not even in the top 5 last year in our conference...maybe 5th imo)
4. UNI (my pick for second...that team was definitely made up of more than their seniors.)
5. BU (Pretty fair shake.)
6. ILSU (Arguably the team that lost the most this season...if there is a candidate for an inexperienced team that may be in the play in round, this is it.)
7. INSU (...it COULD happen...if our top three scorers get injured and we're playing with 8 active guys...oh wait.)
8 - 10 are the same three teams.

It's very early considering that some teams aren't fully loaded yet (including ILST and our Sycamores), but this just strikes me as off on a lot of levels.

Exactly. Don't want to be picked 7th every year? Go out and bust heads, win the MVC and then earn your respect.
