In our Senior Day matchup we face the Illinois State Redbirds who come in with a 7-3 / 4-2 MVFC record and a ranking of 17th. It will be interesting to see if we look more like the team that beat North Dakota or the team that played South Dakota.

Ya, history tells us we just don’t match up well with ISU Red. Their coach Once they get a lead usually will run the ball with long drives that eat that clock up. His defense is only giving up short yards, so maybe we can take what they are giving. The big play will not happen against them, unless we break a run, or blown coverage.

Offensive formation and play calling has been much better. It took them awhile, but they're finally giving the QB a quick out option on almost every pass play.

Look at the "crowd" & at homecoming even. No one besides family & very close friends give a damn about ISU football. Beating a dead horse but close it down or drop it to non-scholarship a division or two & use the funds to support the programs that the large majority of fans care about.

Disappointing senior day result, but we still have next weekend and a decent chance to go beat Northern Iowa. It's going to be Mark Farley's final game coaching the Panthers as he's retiring, so we may get their best performance of their season.
