they will definitely be a wild card next year. they lost a lot of production but they seem to reload with a lot of jucos and transfers every year. i expect them to finish in the upper half of the valley and will be a tough out for any team.
 
Redbirds lost a freshman wideout for the year to a torn knee ligament. It was Anderson from Castle... a kid we also offered.

I guess it would be good for us if Miles does well, but I struggle to care much just the same.

As for Illinois State, they load up on JuCos and are good enough to compete in the Valley every year, but never good enough to seriously compete for the conference title. They also tend to have one of the weakest schedules in the conference, which helps. That said, I'd love to have their non-conference schedule this season. Ball State and Eastern Illinois (two teams we should play regularly) and a home game against Abilene Christian.
