Anyone watching this one? These teams are playing very lose and shooting lights out. Creighton is a good team - but they are also playing very well at the right time. They have gotten past that 2 games losing skid a few weeks back.

Thoughts on Illinois State? Are they a good team or are they just playing well at the right time (similar to us last year, however we did finish third in the league). I can tell you this about Illinois State, they are a young team and they have length. Nic Moore is a good young guard that has a little swagger to him, if they can knock off Creighton depending on what kind of matchup they get you might want to look to them as a team that could upset a higher seed.

From what I have seen in this one and from Illinois State this year - I'm not sure that they defend well enough to beat Creighton. Creighton doesn't tun the ball over, but some of that has to be put on the defense - you've got to force Creighton to play faster than they do.

Great game, would have like the redbirds to play a little more under control but were right there.

Would love to have seen three teams in the tourney this year, but two ain't bad and Creighton earned it. So much for the conspiracy of the league doing everything they can do get three teams in. Good luck to Creighton and WSU (even though so many of their fans are so disrespectful to everyone I will still root for you because that is the ADULT thing to do) and to all the other MVC teams that will be playing in the post season.

Great national TV game for The Valley!!! Too bad Illinois State lost.

Since the MVC Tournament started that was Creighton's 11th Championship.

Creighton ? ? ?

I'm hoping both CU and WSUdo well -- both could get into the Sweet 16 and then who knows ? ? ? But Creighton has not proven to be a good NCAA team -- often play well but get beat the first game or play poorly and get beat. Either way -- One and Done.

The NIT game against Kentucky a couple of years ago is good example -- Creighton gets KU in Omaha -- huge crowd, national TV, great game, and Creighton loses.

NIU, Bradley, and WSU have all had great NCAA runs --lets hope this is a good year for MVC teams in the NCAA
