In Response To... Ok This Is Funny as Heck!

I was talking to my dad on the way home from the airport today and was telling him how so many on here were upset up out the Hulman Center ushers checking for tickets and he said he has figured out what to do when they do that. Keep in mind he has had season tickets in about row 6 for the last 15 to 20 years.

So the usher puts out his hand for the ticket right? Well every time my dad shakes his hand and pats him on the back and says hey how we doing tonight and the guy looks at him every time like, are you a dumb ass.... ahahaha I thought this was so funny!!! You all should try it, everyone hands them damm ushers a ticket, just shake their hand - make them feel soooo awkward.

My dad was also saying when he and my mom went to Evansville to watch the Sycamores that the ushers actually came up to them and said hey you can move down if you want to, if anyone comes to those seats just move for them. The usher told them they could move as close as they wanted....

Oh yes and your "hey how we doing tonight" is an open ended question - you can't wait for the response. It's just a gesture of acknowledgment and keep on going. Don't stop if they say anything or they will have got you.

So if you just want to shake their hand and avoid conversation that might work also. But consider it problem solved.

You know what made if funny for me is I sat with my dad a couple games ago and as we started to walk down I saw him shake the guys hand and didn't think anything of it. My dad said, yeah the same guy has been the usher in this section for 20 years and he still wants to check my ticket - aint happen-en.
