The sixth-seeded Indiana State baseball team begins play in the 2013 Missouri Valley Conference Tournament on Tuesday, May 21, facing the Creighton Bluejays, the tournament's third seed, at 10:00 a.m. (ET) from Duffy Bass Field in Normal, Ill.

I'd like to think so. But, we're missing two things. (1) Pitching Depth for starters and reliable relievers; and (2) Hitting, especially in clutch situations with runners in scoring position. A third area, unfortunately has been some spotty fielding issues.

Be nice to win a couple in post-season...but any more than that will take a literal miracle.

Will, once again weather is an issue. For the 9:00 a.m. (CT) game on Tuesday, ISU may have a bigger issue with wet field conditions rather than actual rain.
