Enrollment at Indiana State University has increased for the sixth straight year. This year's student headcount of 13,183 is 2,731 ahead of the fall 2008 class and is the largest in the last 42 years.

The best part.... it's not just "new freshmen" or "let anyone in"... Retention is better and the quality of student is better...
Overall enrollment is up 5.9 percent, freshman enrollment has grown 3 percent, SAT scores of new students are up and the number of laptop scholarship recipients reached 1,449, an increase of 677 from when the laptop program began in 2006. Laptop scholarships require students to have a minimum 3.0 high school grade point average to qualify.
