TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State freshman John Mascari returns to the course where he set the Sycamore cross country 8,000 meter record as he competes in the 2012 NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships on Saturday in Louisville, Ky.

women's race is underway, I will say this, ISU's course is waaaaaaaay better than this Louisville course! There are no fans on the course, it's just not fan friendly at all

GREAT race for John! he was somewhere between 52nd and 67th place! Best ever finish for ISU I believe!
 
John was 60th place in 30:35! Top 40 are all american, he was close and he's only a freshman!

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Indiana State cross country runner John Mascari capped an impressive freshmen campaign with yet another impressive race as he placed 60 th at the 2012 NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships with a school record time of 30:25.6 over the 10,000 meter course at E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Ky.
