• The Sycamores have won 4 close games this season (a win by 5 or fewer points). Since 2007, Indiana State has won 34 close games.
• Indiana State has won 100% of the time this season (6-0) when its had a field goal percentage of 44.4% or better. This is very encouraging.. not only that we've won 100%, but that we have 6 games over 44.4% shooting.
• ISU has won 100% of the time this season (6-0) when opponents record 61 or fewer total points. Last year's number was 63 or fewer points... Still shows that we HAVE to play solid "D" all game long.
• This season Indiana State has won 86% of the time (6-1) when Jake Odum has 16 points or more.
• ISU set season lows for assists and three-pointers. This was probably the most discouraging part of the game last night... very discouraging assist totals.
• Jake Odum recorded a team season high in steals with 5.
• The top two scorers (Justin Gant and Jake Odum) accounted for 52.3% of the points.
• Justin Gant has led the team in scoring 3 times and in rebounding 6 times in 13 games this season. I have a feeling that the MVC is going to tire of hearing Gant's name over the next 3 MVC seasons (including the remaining games this year).
