What this mainly tells me, in terms of weaknesses, is we take too many outside shots. We have a fairly big front line along with guards who can get to the rim, but we settle for too many long jumpers.

weaknesses? Khristian smith should not be shooting the 3. Despite shooting the 3rd most 3's on the team, 6 other players have hit more 3's than him. He's now 13 for 67 from long range. not a weakness...kitchell is now 10/33 from downtown. Would be an interesting to see who ends up with more 3 point makes between smith and kitchell. I'd bet kitchell cause i'd actually encourage him to continue to throw up a couple long one's per game. I'd like to kindly ask smith to drive to the basket in lieu of the 3 ball.

Smith is the best free throw shooter by percentage. He needs to attack and get fouled. He hasn't been doing that enough. He didn't attempt a single free throw vs UNI

In regards to free throws, Devonte brown has been doing a good job of getting to the line. He's now 94/151, which is 62.3%. If he can somehow work on his stroke he could really elevate his game.

Smith needs to work this summer on taking some of the arch off of his shot. It should have been done a long time ago. I don't know what coaches do. My daughter and I set her arch in the 4th grade.

Good point Backer....and FINISH the shot ! The worst offenders are Kitch and Gant, on not finishing. If you watch Gant shoot you will see him go thru 95% of the motion well and the last 5% is just "hope it goes" follow thru. His misses are just plain lack of concentration in many of his tries. Kitch and Brown are about the same. Brown has improved, but all shots from wherever have a much better chance if followed thru 100%.
