BIG weekend for Indoor track as the NCAA meet is at Arkansas. The ISU women and men will be represented there. The women have a GREAT shot to place in the top 15 overall. The 4 representing ISU should place high. Of course Kylie Hutson is the defending pole vault champ, Erica Moore is in the 800, Lauren Martin is in the triple jump, and Kelsey Hanley is in the women's weight throw. This could be a HUGE meet for the women, who are ranked 13th in the nation folks!

Major Clay will be in the high jump for the men, he has one of the highest jumps in the nation this year! I think the meet will be broadcast on the internet for free, it was last year. Maybe Morgan can find the link as I will be out of town all weekend.

the ISU women's chances at a top 15 finish take a huge hit tonight as Kelsey Hanley, who had one of the top throws in the NCAA this season places 13th in the women's weight throw, not socring any points, nor qualifying for the final. If Kelsey threw what she threw at the MVC meet she'd have placed 3rd. Bummer.

Erica Moore getting ready to run the prelims in the 800

Erica Moore just ran her heat in the women's 800 and will not make the final, she was 4th in the 3rd heat in 2:06.09, the top 2 from each heat, plus the next 2 fastest times made the final, Erica will probably be the 1st or second one who did not make the final. Again....bummer.

So it will be up to triple jumper Lauren Martin and Pole Vaulter Kylie Hutson to score points for the ISU women.

Major Clay competes for the ISU men tomorrow in the high jump.

aargh! Erica Moore is the FIRST girl to not make the women's 800 final! Man, this stinks!!

Morgan, you need to update this Saturday with the women's pole vault, triple jump, and the men's high jump. I'll be gone all day.
