The Men's team is expected to be much improved this season and also still a very young team. They landed an impressive class of Freshman and expect to again compete for MVC titles for the next several years after what was a down year last season... Very down year.... Horrible year...

Let me just say that she is the real deal for sure, but it means very little to be among the top times/marks nationally after 1 meet of the season. It's like opening weekend of college basketball, just because you lead college basketball in scoring after the first weekend doesn't really mean much! But good news nonetheless.

The difference being that no college basketball team gains a berth in the "Big Dance" after only one game. The national leader angle adds a little bit of spice to the story, but I think the bigger points were the school record and automatic NCAA qualifier (especially the latter). It's good news, period.

Partly agree. Most of the marks mentioned in the release are ranked because there haven't been many meets. But, Johnson's 22.31 would have placed her 2nd at Indoor Nationals last winter. 22.31 is a bomb, and should be recognized as such.

Brad Adams is a true freshman, yes, pretty good, from Ohio

Is Brad Adams a true freshman?

Totally agree, when I saw how far she'd beaten Hanley by I was like Whoa, that is SOME throw!
