Bandwagon or not...it is actually a very good article. The Star rarely gives ISU any publicity, but we've definitely forced their hand. I hope we make them write another article about our upset win in the first round!

Sycamore fans need to go to the IndyStar.com site and place a comment in the comment section for this article. That will demonstrate that Sycamore fans have logged on showing interest in our team/school.

GO SYCAMORES……….and ROLL TIMBER!!

Great article!!! Love this so much, for what it's worth when me and my 25 year old friends go to the Rec Cetner to play basketball (usually once a week) we want to be like Jake Odum, I see nothing wrong with it. ahahah

Nice article!. I told you guys that there would plenty of love aimed our way in Indy this week and I think it has been steady from the start.

I will have to try that bar out. Sounds like a nice place! :-)

Excellent article, and great to see it as the primary headline on the front page of the Indy Star sports section. I've already written Phillp B. a note of thanks!

Just for the sake of trivia, did anyone else notice the glaring error in this paragraph?

"He is remembered most for "The Menser Miracle." On Nov. 29, 2000, the guard hit two 3-pointers in the final nine seconds, the last with a half-second remaining, to lift ISU to a 59-58 victory over Indiana and Bob Knight at the Hulman Center."

Hint: Someone had already been fired in September of that year. It was someone else who was...uh....coaching (for lack of a more accurate word) IU when the Menser Miracle occurred.

I don't remember, but I believe you. good catch.
I think Lansing said in his interview the other day that Heaton was a starter on the '79 team. Anyone catch that?

(Knight) had already been fired in September of that year.

Phillip B. wrote back to me, and it turns out he received his incorrect information from someone at Indiana State. If true, that's just embarrassing (although Wilson still should have checked his facts). When did journalism become such a sloppy business?
