Inspiring Story from a Sycamore Alum

In 2003, I was a Sophomore at Terre Haute South. Karl Turk was a 1st year assistant coach for Terre Haute South on the JV and Varsity teams. Playing JV that year I got to know Coach Turk pretty well, he was a pretty awesome guy who never let his disability get in his way of his love, passion and knowledge for the game. Yes, he is as intense as this video makes him seem.

I thought the Indianapolis, Indiana State, the late Royce Waltman and Terre Haute ties were pretty cool in this story. Narrated by Indiana Pacers legend Reggie Miller, I think you all will enjoy this story.

The video story on CBS (noon Sunday) had some tears from me too. I was on a flight from Orlando and bought Wifi just to watch it. Played ball in the arena with Turk and still talk to him. Great guy, great story, and damn could he hit long-distance 3s all day long. :ballspin:
