Looking at the hawkeyereport, most Iowa fans seem supportive of Jake. Most Iowa fans I know are distracted by the football team's success at the moment. On a side note, I'm buddies with a Hawkeye fan and he's actually pulling for the Sycamores. We might go to Cedar Falls to see them play UNI in January.

They are probably talking about our Asst Coach Greg Lansing. I have not heard of anything shady abuot him, but he was an Asst Coach at Iowa under Alford.....

Craig Neal is from Washington, IN and was supposedly the top assistant at Iowa. There were always accusations about things he didn't do or things he did he wasn't supposed to do. I don't know Neal well at all, but I can tell you he is a very arrogrant person. Iowa fans were not upset at all when Neal left town!

Hmmmmm........... Shady Asst Coaches are all over the place......... Memphis, Kansas St, Texas AM..........
I remember seeing a story on ESPN E60 about the number of coaches from big time AAU programs that become assistant coaches at mid level Division I programs.......... Those programs in-turn end up getting big time recruits that you would think would have gone elsewhere........... i.e. every player at Memphis, Michael Beasley at Kansas St........ Those wer the ones mentioned in this article.....
How about the kid from Lawrence North that is going to Florida International???
