ESPN makes people hate Duke and Coach K and it aint really fair. Coach K is great for college basketball, he is a winner and I appreciate winners. No I aint no Duke fan, but this guy understands what it takes to win and he does it the right way! Their is something to be said these days for doing it the right way... He deserves the upmost respect in my opinion.

Coach K isn't Coach Calapari meaning he has never been in trouble for cheating. There are three things you can count on from Calapari, 1. He can coach PG's 2. He will get you a Final Four banner 3. He will get you a Final Four banner taken down.

You and I just are not going to see eye to eye on anything, that's plain and simple...
You don't think that game (tonight and tonight only) was fairly officiated? Duke does get calls, but so does Kobe Bryant, Lebron James and certainly Michael Jordan - great players and great teams earn calls. If you don't like the way that the game is officiated then I ask you to take in a track meet sometime soon. It's a sport that is unimpeded by an official, it's you vs. the other team vs. the clock and it's pretty much that simple. The official shots the gun and get's out of the way. Let me qualify that by saying, don't blame Coach K and Duke for the calls they get. THEY DON'T BLOW THE WHISTLE!

K is a good coach, one of many, but he has no right to say anything to the officials. I do respect the defense he ges from his players.
I really like Coach Steven's courtside manner.

the rule book should be the rule book i don't buy that crap that you earn calls. refs want to make everything a judgment call instead of learning the rulebook. power trippers all of them.
the nba is a circus; it sure ain't basketball.
i'd rather watch baseball than track. compared to a track meet baseball is exciting.
the key to returning basketball to its lost beauty and grace and removing sumo wrestling from it lies in the whistle. use it correctly. refs should respect the game. not just their checks.
i only respect the opinions of people about basketball who know something about basketball. so no we will never see eye to eye. that don't mean you can't learn something though.
Well then.... Fair enough!
