Ok Blaine I don't get how you can make an updated blog but I have struggled with it for the past ooooo two-three months...U!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol GO TREES!

I said that you can't blame everything on the officiating. These refs have called everything against the Sycamores and nothing against the Redbirds.

In the first half the Sycamores struggled shooting and every time they put together a run they would have a call go against them. At one point the guy sitting next to me doing the radio for either northern Iowa or Bradley said that the calls were being made were the worst calls in the history of the Valley. But in the second half the Redbirds jumped out to a huge lead and the Sycamores could not hit a shot. The officiating was actually pretty good during the second half. Tough way to end the season though.
 
UNI eliminates Illinois State

It does not make me feel any better that Northern Iowa beat Illinois State today, 61-59. Once again, the MVC will not be sending its best representative to the NCAA.

UNI will play Creighton tomorrow for the title.

Nope -- 17-14 // (7-11 conf)

We played 7 'tournament teams,' 1 NCAA - UNI (1-1) and 6 WNIT teams:

Butler 0-1
East Illinois. 1-0
Ill State 0-3
Creighton 0-2
Missouri St 0-2
SMU 0-1

So, 2-10; bit of a cloud due to the coaching situation...

Rally, regroup for next season
