ISU Foundation purchases 16 acres to west of Third Street

Could this be the land they are looking to build a new track and field complex on? I believe so and I know folks have been planning behind closed doors. I do believe this will be the next athletic facility to be built on the Indiana State campus! Well deserved and well over due!

I don't think there is a question that this is the intention. But it is also a political move, to show the TH community that they are planning on moving forward with the Riverscape project as well. Plus, the cost of a new track and field facility is probably the "cheapest" project they can undertake currently, that will show the university is moving on the master plan that will be revealed later today. But, the football stadium is way off in the distance. It is gonna take 10+ years for that.
