Jacob Hayes Makes HASS First Team In California (8/16)

ISU outfielder Jacob Hayes shook things up this summer as a strong performer in the 17-team Horizon Air Summer Series league in Northern California. With more than 350 players in the league, Hayes made the end of summer first team honors!

Is this league comparable to the "Prospect League?" Doesn't quite seem to be at the level of the Cape Cod, where Manaea was last year. Helluva season though by Hayes. Plus, look @ the geography where he played...what a Summer!

No, not the caliber of the Cape Cod League. Northwoods League is a good comparison. Might be a little better competition than the Prospect league. Hayes had a well-rounded summer, which should translate into a solid season in the MVC.
