Jameer Thurman Named To Capital One Academic All-District Team

Indiana State sophomore linebacker Jameer Thurman, a native of Chicago, Ill., has been named to the 2014 Capital One Academic All-District Team following a vote of Sports Information Directors in the Midwest. This award is given annual by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Thurman will now advance to the Capital One Academic All-America ballot.

Congratulations Jameer, a great accomplishment. Researched it a bit when our daughter accomplished the same thing as a softball player in college. Already has made a difference in her career path and acceptance to graduate school at U of C. , Now let's go beat the jacks!!
