Let's make this the Game Thread!

At this point we all know it's gonna be a great crowd, even if not every seat is filled (due to weather and what not), so we NEED our Sycamores to put a beat down on Loyola. Seriously. We NEED it. With the exception of the Butler game, how many times can we think of, in recent memory when we had a good crowd, ie vs Wichita, and then we get destroyed. It's time for us to destroy. Loyola destroyed us. Now it's our turn. I think an emphatic win could convert some casual fans.

Won't happen. A Lansing-coached team will never destroy anyone. Not his style. Sorry.

Stage is set for a route. Hope you, I, and the rest of the Sycamore Nation will make a stand. The kids deserve this atmosphere. I'll be cheering my ars off for my Alma Mater til' the final horn. Let's all make the best out of it. Regardless, of Lansing. It's about these kids and the ghost of past. Come Hell or High Water keep the faith that it'll be a special day. Go Trees!

If that is your prediction, I will take that bet. No way we lose by 15 unless some fluke thing happens where we lose two guys to injury or something.

I'd love to be wrong.

We're 7-6 against Loyola since they've joined the MVC and we won the first five matchups of the series losing 5 of the last 6. They just thumped us 79-44 at their place and we look about the same right now as a we did a little over two weeks ago. Lets hope the atmosphere can spot us 10 points.

Can tell it will be a good crowd. My usual parking spot I can roll up 15 mins b4 tip and get easy. Filled up 1 1/2 hrs b4 tip today.

Would love to be in the Haute for this occasion. Truly remarkable that we had one of THE most important teams in NCAA history and the fact that they everyone is still alive and in good health is truly special! Would be cool for Sister Jean to be there too just to have some ICONIC march madness figures under one roof. Hopefully it's a great game and everyone involved has a great time! go Sycs!

I remember people bitching about celebrating 40 years a few months ago, I wasn’t even alive but we would be crazy to not milk every moment of the ‘79 season.
