So we ran into a buzzsaw and got our hand damn near cut off. We'll see if our guys re-attach that sumbitch and go fight at Loyola or if they pack it in and play the woe is me card like Sycamore teams of the past.

Agree, We'll find out what we're made of Wed. night. The guys should be pissed after their performance today and ready to take it out on Loyola.

We all have feared for most of the season that last year would appear again down the stretch. If we have grown and learned from last year, we play well Wednesday. If we are the same team as last year, we roll over and let Loyola walk over us.

Good teams don't usually go on losing streaks and they play with short memories, they move on to the next one. Wednesday will tell us a lot about our team.

Agreed. If we are a good team, I feel for Loyola, 'cause we're gonna roll 'em. If we are the ISU teams of the recent past, we'll get beat.

Got balls?

Agreed all. This is actually a good game for us, too, because Loyola has been playing pretty decent ball of late. Doyle is coming into his own in the Valley. Also like how it is another road game right after Wichita. Gives them an opportunity to get the road stank off 'em.

Didn't separate from Sycamore teams of the recent past today, but we have a chance to do it by bouncing back. At this point, I don't care that much how impressive we look, just win!!!

I'm not sure this team and/or coaching staff has the fire and vinegar to roll anybody. We need to hammer them by 20 or more with the starters getting 2nd half rest--a laugh-er. MoSt was close but not the statement we need to make.

"Men in Blue" will show what they are made of. "Boys in Blue" will spiral into a deadly tailspin. Their one beatdown is over, time to man up. Could be worse....they could have lost at home vs Northwestern.

We just missed shots. Today's shooting performance was a statistical outlier on the year and it wasn't like the Shockers were defending our perimeter shots aggressively -- missed a LOT of what I'd consider open looks.

Then again, our team FG% has went from 51% to 47.8% in about 5 games. Not sure what to make of it.

Redemption is spelled l.o.y.o.l.a.

I'll echo the comments of others. How we show in this game will tell us a lot about who we are as a team. Time to sack up or shrivel up.

So you're saying we will find out if we have grapes or raisins?

I know it's tough to win on the road in the MVC, but the only thing that will get the stink out of our mouths from the WSU loss is a beat down of Loyola.

Like, a serious, take it out on these little beeatches, beatdown.

The field goal % has gone down because too many people are shooting the 3 ball. Need our inside players Gant, Kitchell & Moore to PLAY INSIDE and leave the outside shooting to the other guys. Too many self-professed 3 ball shooters; not needed. Need rebounds & 2nd shots etc. from the BIG'S.

Moore has shown he can handle the ball consistently inside. Both Gant & Kitchell need to stay close enough to the bucket that no dribbling is necessary because they are both "easy picks". I wouldn't waste my time if I was a guard throwing it to them if they are not close enough to shoot a point blank 5- footer. Gant has regressed since the season started.
