Youngstown State: Jon Heacock will not return as head coach.

Western Kentucky: According to one report, Alabama offensive cooridnator Jim McElwain and Chicago Bears assistant Darryl Drake are interested in the WKU job.
 
A guy in my office played with Darryl Drake at WKU. Interested, but may not be enough money for him to go. (Although the way the Bears are playing, maybe not such a stable situation up here in Chicago).
 
Come to ISU

Maybe he will come to ISU and try to get this program out of the gutter?

hammer, what makes you suppose that? And is that a threat?? Maybe you should be careful. I didn't play at ISU, my son does--I played at a different school, and if you must know, it was what is now a school in a BCS conference. We had plenty of wins. So, tell me now, who is the want-a-be?? Just, remember, I am never the one who starts this by demeaning kids who are working hard to get better. So, when you quit your hateful posting, is when my automatic response to your drivel stops. For now, hammer = MORON.

Nice NSF although we might not see eye to eye on the motivational ways of coaches . we do see eye to eye on one thing and that is Hammer=Moron .
 
I've learned many equations in my life throughout math classes. But no equation is more simple and makes more sense than newsycamore and daveinth's> hammer=MORON.

Well if I am so negative all the time; tell me this? What was the last year ISU has a winning record? It was 1996 at 6-5, this is a fact! I write facts. When were they more than one game over .500? 1995 @ 7-4. So as you can tell I write facts about my school, not just HOPES that we can turn this around next year. Fact =it wont happen that quick! 1992 was 6-5, Some would argue that in 1984 was the LAST year they had a good team? Record was 9-3. YES 1984, this is OVER 25 years of football and only 3 years of a winning record and to be close in games-we were not! Ask TJ he knows how bad ISU has been!

Facts are facts! If you want to continue to think ISU is a football school and wins games; then OH WELL! Good for you
