If you forgot, the NCAA implemented an early signing period for football and that is December 20th with the normal signing day following up on February 1st. I'd imagine any kid that doesn't sign this Wednesday is not likely considered a verbal commitment any more.
I'd imagine most coaches would look at their commitments this way so it could be an interesting secondary market between December 20th and February 1st. Hopefully the staff held back a couple scholarships for that very reason.
