After reading all the stories and comments on this website about the loss this past Saturday, it just shows where ther Sycamores needs to improve. Indiana State needs to become more physical on the offensive and defensive lines.

I firmly believe that the Sycamores are an improved football program. But there is still plenty of work left to do. I am very proud of the team and the program for what they have accomplished so far this season and over the last couple of years in terms of turning around the ISU football fortunes.

But we all know that there is still plenty of work to be done if the Sycamores want to be able to compete with the MVC's best on a weekly basis.

I also agree that there needs to be improved play on special teams. My only comments to coach Miles and his assistants -- Keep up the hard work. You're getting there. I see progress in the program. Onward and Upward Sycamores!!!!!

As for the North Dakota State game, let's all remember the immortal slogan of former Indiana State men's basketball coach Tates Locke -- F.I.D.O (Forget It and Drive On).

I think we're quickly getting the point where we can be competitive in the Valley. I'd say if I took anything away from the game this past weekend, it would be we now need to compile the depth our fellow Valley teams have. We don't have the luxury to sub several of our guys to get them a blow where NDSU did that a lot this weekend per the announcers on Sycamore Vision announcing the lineup changes.

We're now well ahead of where most of us thought this team would be in year three of Miles' rebuilding project. Even if we don't win another game this season (I think we will) I expect them all to be close and competitive. The question now is how much can we accomplish next year. Maybe that conference championship we thought we'd be competing for by year five or six under Miles could come in year four.

we have some tuff games ahead...but I am already happy with the success...not content but much better than I expected...but NIU,SIU, and SDSU will be tough ones...YSU will be a good game also...

But even the Cap'n must admit that it would be awesome if the Trees win out!

The Cap'n likes revolution in football standings, in any conference. Howzabout you guys beat everyone else but UNI, than accompany us to the playoffs as an at-large???
