The JSW Level
is an Indiana State graduate. I was told he graduated from ISU in 1977.

Here is a news item on the guy:

Larry Blackerby, a 30-year television veteran, has been picked to replace long-time WRTV-TV General Manager Donald Lundy at the Indianapolis ABC-TV affiliate, parent company McGraw-Hill Broadcasting.

Lundy, who has been at WRTV for 31 years, in August announced his plans to retire. He turns 65 in December.

Blackerby has been vice president and general manager of KPRC-TV, an NBC-TV affiliate in Houston, since 2006. He previously worked in markets in California, Florida, Michigan and North Carolina.

Blackerby, who will succeed Lundy officially on Jan. 3, will be responsible for the strategy and day-to-day editorial and business operations of WRTV.

Really? I always think it's cool to see a State grad be successful...He's doing his job and that's always a good sign to his alma mater...

Perhaps he should be greeted with emails from loyal Sycamores congratulating him on the new job, wishing him luck, welcoming him back to Indiana (not the Hoosier state) and commenting on the lack of coverage of Indiana State University by the Indy media.

And yes, I always like to see a fellow Tree do well.

the guy that initially told me about it.....is a cameraman at Channel 6....

.....who is also an Indiana State grad......I guess that they had an introductory meeting with the new general manager and several members of the Channel 6 production staff.....the guy got up there and talked....told everybody about himself...and then proclaimed himself to be an Indiana State grad and asked if there were any other ISU grads in the room....the cameraman raised his hand.....what made the whole thing funny was that the cameraman was wearing an Indiana State sweatshirt at the time in the meeting.....

Ummmm it's semi true but the reason is obvious...it's one of the largest cities in the area...most of our students are from Indiana...do the math...
