Hutson has added to her outstanding resume, now a National Championship performance out in Eugene today. Even got some coverage on NBC and a shot out to her alma-mater Indiana State!

Congrats Kylie on being the best in the United States - you were the best in college and now you're the best in the nation at the professional level.

She's in a class of her own...

Does it really matter that much though that it's mentioned in the Indystar?

I think it does...if any Hoosier-native places 1st place in any relevant sporting event, I think it absolutely warrants a mention in the state's largest newspaper.

I totally agree! The only daily newspaper with wide circulation in the state capital should report on anything that reflects well on the state.

Track and field seminar for the media

It would be nice if the sportscasters for both Terre Haute television stations, many other sportscasters nationwide and many sports writers -- including several network live action telecasters -- would read a primer about track and field before attempting to explain to the public what happened.

Those who passionately follow track and field do not want to make an issue fo fear of preventing coverage of the sport so we accept minor errors.
