That certainly seems to be the hot rumor. Not sure the allure of that job after the previous GM basically gutted that team and traded off most of their assets. That Serge Ibaka trade absolutely blew up in their faces.

Bird's attempt to rebuild the Pacers roster this season really didn't pan out well. Not surprised he's leaving.
