I think it shows that HCJS is confident that our style of play is attractive to players and that player development is a fundamental goal. That gives him a foot in the door with talent we previously didn’t have a chance.

I’ll give you another positive. Coach is tuned into the NBA and watches games and his system has actions that NBA teams run. May not be appealing to fans who don’t like the NBA but that’s BIG to recruits because almost everyone one of them want to play NBA even though it’s a small % that actually make it. Could be a selling point.

The other thing I see is we are hunting talent down. These guys aren't just from Indiana and a 40 minute radius of Terre Haute like Coach Losing loved to recruit. We are in FL, TX, AR, WY, the Northeast finding the ballers and getting in the hunt.

No need for the name call. He won more than he lost. Anyway that's what happens when you get a bigger budget for basketball. It allows you to get out farther, A fun new style to play, and then hopefully consistent winning which we look to be projecting that way.

Yup... if we lose a recruit it is generally to a P5 of upper tier Mid major... That is where we want to lose recruits...

He may be building a Gonzaga in Terredise.

Recruiting (and getting in the door) on these recruits that are going "higher" is a great investment for future transfers.

Yep, that is another solid point. With the amount of transfer there are in today's landscape, having hosted them and built a relationship during the initial process could be beneficial if they're looking for a change of scenery.

Isn't that essentially what happen with Conwell?
