LSU vs Bama

It was supposed to be the Game of the Century, but it might have been the most conservative and sloppy football game I've ever seen. 9-6 LSU in overtime. It was miserable to watch. I appreciate good defense, I do not appreciate coaches playing not to lose. It was anything but impressive or great.

It might also have been the least exciting end to an overtime game between no. 1 and no. 2 ever!

I found it extremely well played defensively. The offenses had issues tonight. I had a feeling it would be a slobber knocker, but I love watching two defensive ball clubs scratch one out. Just because there are low points doesn't mean it's sloppy, those two teams are just so good on that side of the ball.

It was pretty sloppy though. The heave that was picked late for one. Missed executions.

I'd prefer to watch a defensive battle over a shootout, myself, but that game was very conservative and dull as a result. In games like that, I'd almost prefer they eliminate punts and FGs.

When I played football I played QB for the most part and I even hate watching shootouts. What is this madden on Easy?
Haha, I just thought both teams did a good job of eliminating the others greatest strength. Ruben Randle disappeared in this game 2 receptions for 19 yards. In many games he has taken over this year. And on the Bama side of the ball they actually did a decent job of forcing some bad decision-making out of AJ McCarron without applying pressure. Those bump and run double coverages that you saw him throw into were brilliantly designed because pre snap reads made it look like Vanilla Zone.
