On the birthday of Jake Odum and the day we get a chance to hand one to the Shockers I couldn't help but share this video.

Go ahead and fast forward to the 1:11 (1 hour 11 minutes) mark of the video.

Odum makes 2 free throws to cut the lead to 5 at the 10:20 mark. WSU in the Bonus.

Garry Pollard makes one of the WORST calls in college basketball history. Baker travels and he calls Jake Odum for #4 and it changed the game for us. I will never let Garry forget that call, we had a chance and he changed the game. :thumbsdown:

Shouldn't forget the classy move by the Shockers and the Wichita State fans who get a bad rap and it's probably unfair.

1:34 on (1 hour and 34 minutes) when Odum comes out of the game and Baker has the Shocker fans give him a standing ovation. Pretty cool moment.

The final score of this game was not remotely indicative of how close the game really was. We were on a serious run until that horseshit call was made, and we had WSU on the ropes. It completely took the wind out of our sails.

Yep....Horrible call..........Baker was actually expecting Jake to 'body up" to him has he drove in.....but Jake kept moving away and thus Baker lost his balance and fell..........should have been a traveling call.......

Yup I remember just standing there and feeling all of our momentum go away after that call. Amazing what one bad call and 2 points can do to a ball game.
