One of the videos I was able to find for the President's Dinner Honorees.

Just out of curiosity was this awarded for a series of gifts to the school or did they give one large gift?

However they chose to give it was obviously substantial. Sounds like it helps to fund the bball programs, locker room renovations and the Heath/Nursing programs at State.

Wish they would buy Mallory out.

I understand the sentiment but would be a huge waste of money.

Why give the school several hundred thousand to buy out Mallory just so they can hire some new coach who will go 3-9 or maybe 4-7 and then after about four years the school can ditch him, bring in another new coach who won’t win and the cycle can repeat itself.

Doubt they became this well off by making bad investments.

Exactly. Any additional donation money spent on the football program going forward is wasted money.
