If he goes out and has a winning season in his first season, then the Cardinals will look like they are geniuses...

If he has a losing record, then people are going to wonder why the Cardinals didn't hire someone with managerial experience...

I would of liked to have seen them hire Francona, but I guess taking a gamble on Matheny is not that bad....

Now, they just need to give Pujols the money he deserves!
