Well, we skipped April because it took a while to get March's responses up, but now it's time again to submit your questions for Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Ron Prettyman!

If you have previously submitted a question that hasn't been asked, don't worry, I still have all the questions saved and they'll all make their way to Ron eventually.

Lots of great stuff is going on with ISU Athletics right now, so there should be a lot of good questions! Reply to this thread to ask a question. Thread closes Friday at 11:59 p.m.

I'd like to know how the foundation functions? What are they doing to raise $$ for ISU, Alums are rarely contacted, brilliant ideas are thought of on this website and yet we never hear about any fundraising activity going on with the foundation, I live in the Dakotas and fundraising for the D-I schools here is CONSTANTLY in the media, people out here KNOW what kind of money is being raised, what it's being used for, what the goals are, alumni are frequently contacted and asked to contribute (and most do). Updates are given on what the money is being used for, etc, etc....

Why is everything related to fundraising at ISU so secretive, it just makes no sense?

So ask that, a lot of us would REALLY like to know.

Good questions. However, if RP doesn't feel they are within his purview, would he please have someone from the Foundation provide the answers?

What would be nice is if Golden would sit down with the foundation director and ask what's going to be done for fundraising for ISU, what's the plan? Are they only going to target people who they think will give large donations and totally disregard other alumni who will donate in smaller amounts? When will it start? What's the goal? What will the $$ be used for, what are the long range plans? Ask tough questions, because without money we're gonna be left behind.

Q1) Ron, has there been any more discussion and/or a decision made on full cost of attendance? In reading Valley beat writers reports from around the league, it looks like most schools will look to provide FCOA in men's basketball and then select female sports to ensure Title IX compliance. Are we following suit? If not, has a time table been set for that decision?

Q2) With Conference USA recently announcing that UAB will need to bring back football or look for a new home, what are your thoughts on the Missouri Valley being mentioned among the conferences interested in them or that they're interested in? As an aside, do you think it is a good idea for the Valley to add schools that don't have that football expense and can put significant money into their hoops programs?

Q3) Lastly, what are your thoughts on the big paydays that Wichita State's Gregg Marshall and UNI's Ben Jacobsen got this offseason? I know we've raised our men's basketball salaries significantly over the last several years but does there come a breaking point where we can't continue to keep up with the Valley's Joneses? If so, where do you forsee our athletics programs at that point?

Let's get those questions in, folks! You only have until midnight tonight to get them submitted! Have anything you want to know about football, basketball, T&F, CC, or any of our other sports? Ever want to know the inner workings of the athletic department? Ever want to know what Ron's favorite dinner is?

I know there's something you've been dying to ask!!!
