Hank Williams Junior pulls his song from Monday night football because of ESPN pulling it after he compared Obama to Adoff Hitler on national Televison. He claimed the first amendment but in reality that doesn't protect you from being fired or censored when you work for someone.

Watching the disagreement here on Outside the lines but I don't understand why anyone can affirm Hank Williams Junior here. While he thinks he isn't he is a public figure, You can't make comments like that.

he never compared obama to hitler in a personal sense. he was making a point about a conversation between two people who were beyond polar opposites. the knee jerk of pc strikes again.

Yeah PC in the sense we get kinda upset when you compare the president to Hitler? THe guy sounded drunk in his interview honestly...and it doesn't matter ESPN was only going to pull the song till he publicly took the comments back but he was the deciding factor. Not them.

This topic really has me fired up! ARE THEY SERIOUS? The guy made a comment about how rediculous the pairing of Obama and John Boehner was as they are polar opposites. "It would be like Hitler playing golf with Netanyahu." WHERE IN THE HELL DID HE CALL OBAMA HITLER? I'm not a fan of Hank's nor do i care what he says....but to jump off the deep end over these comments seems a little knee-jerkish.

he was asked "Who is the enemy then?"

When he was asked to clarify by Gretchen Carlson...

"It’d be like Hitler playing golf with Netanyahu," Williams said during the satellite interview.

Asked to clarify, Williams said, "They’re the enemy," adding that by "they" he meant Obama and Vice President Joe Biden.

Anchor Gretchen Carlson later said to him, "You used the name of one of the most hated people in all of the world to describe, I think, the president." Williams replied, "Well, that is true. But I’m telling you like it is."

Haven't heard one of his songs on the radio in forever... Fox even gave him the chance to explain it and he DID!

To this day it still gets stuck in my head but NBC passed them up by putting a super freaking hot Faith Hill on the airwaves. God dang is she beautiful and their song is better IMO.

And that's even ok? You are taking the idea of not being PC and going way out into left field. Obama is nothing like hitler, he hasn't ordered the mass murder of any peoples in americas yet so I would think that being "like" anyone ends there.
