Is it just me or does it seem that we are never picked #1, yet we end up winning the conference the past couple years?
we've been picked first in the past and won the MVC meet. I think last year we were picked 1st and wound up 2nd. This is a realistic preseason poll as SIU does have a lot returning in the way of experience. It'll be their meet to lose. ISU just needs to stay healthy and they'll be right there to contend for a win. Should be a great season.
Women were picked 6th, probably where they expected to be picked. Hopefully the girls can run well, stay healthy and place in the top 5 at the MVC meet.
