ECU is the only mid major to advance so far out of 8 schools that have advanced. At least one more (either USF or S Alab) will advance; and several others including DBU have the opportunity to make it today.

As if the damn replay hasn't already put THEM in the spotlight, while virtually destroying the spontaneity of the game. Whether they admit it or not, fans actually ENJOY jumping on an umpire's ass for blowing a call - it's the HUMAN NATURE of the game. And it sure as hell beats 15 min of FROZEN game time deciding if a 1B man made a tag. Besides, cameras aren't ALWAYS conclusive, are they, which puts everything back to the ORIGINAL 'frigg'n call. It's ruined baseball...look how long games are AFTER they tried to make adjustments. A four (4) hour game is ridiculous.
