Interesting to see all 3 of the videos. Clearly this is, and has been for a long time, a big problem with collegiate athletics and the money involved. I'm not sure what the "learning specialist" is, or what her role was with the UNC athletic programs, but you would hope there would be more people involved on the inside who see this BS going on (and I'm sure it happens at most levels in many sports, but is highligted at the major universities that generate huge revenues) and decide to speak up about it. I can only imagine what goes on at most of the SEC universities. There is also clearly a double standard between star athletes and the "squad members" in terms of suspensions...I know that happens at ISU. More of the "entitled" generation, where in the kids minds, it's all about performing on the field or court, and has very little to do with why they are really there (or should be about why they are there--to get an education). For Williams to say he had no knowledge--that's laughable. For the "advisors" who draw a paycheck to direct kids in this fashion (to stay eligible rather than work toward a degree or actually learn something). Players putting all of the blame on administrators is also laughable--they are the most complicit in issues related to their education. If you can't go to class, can't read or write...You should not be there!
