The Odum Level
I still can't believe how depressed I am (was) over losing a college football game. I woke up around 4 a.m. (thinks to our stupid cat) and made the mistake of thinking about it, then I was up for another hour or two. I actually feel better this morning. It is time to move on.

I'm hoping we can still have a respectable showing against Louisville then come back home and give Eastern one heck of a fight. Now that they're playing games again the guys can get back to making progress. Practice helps, but not as much as playing games.

Hopefully you didn't kick the cat this morning. It was a very long 3-1/2 hour drive through crappy weather last night. Not much good to say about the game. Keep moving on, keep trying to get better every week, and the one thing I will say is that the players need to care. I saw too many smiling or complacent faces coming out of the locker room last night--I know, put the game behind you, blah, blah, blah... BS! This should be an embarassment that they NEVER forget.

My only concern is that with the Lousiville game being next, the morale will be so low. Will this be recoverable? Im pulling for this team as hard as anyone, but I also want to be realistic.

I don't like hearing that. I was so bummed I didn't start to recover until this morning.
