Made no sense to keep him on board. Recruiting would have essentially been dead in the water as he couldn't have gone in to a recruits home and given him any sales pitch aside from selling it as a basketball alum.
I’m going to miss Muller. You could always count on his teams being undisciplined, unprepared, and lacking focus. It’ll suck to see Illinois State actually get a good coach.
