In a relatively weak year for MVC Cross Country, both the ISU men and women are predicted to get 4th this Saturday at UNI
Someone other than our own John Mascari will be the individual champ. First time since 2011 there will be a new winner.

On the men's side, Bradley would have to have an absolutely disastrous meet to lose, they may very well place all 5 of their runners in the top 10, they are that good. And as I mentioned after the pre national meet at ISU, we may see Bradley again at the NCAA meet in Terre Haute on Nov. 19th. Right now they're ranked 4th in the Midwest region.
on paper Wichita State is a solid pick at #2, if their runners falter they could drop a spot or two.
Both ISU's should battle for the 3-4 spot. How our Sycamores do is going to rely heavily on our 4th and 5th runners, AND if we can avoid misfortune for once this year. Been a tough year for odd things happening to our runners during meets. Hopefully our 4-5 guys have solid meets and we can at least be 3rd.
After that it's anyone's guess between Loyola, UNI, Drake, Evansville, and Southern Illinois. Drake's top runner will contend for the individual win with the kid from Bradley.
On the women's side, we're picked 4th as well. Bradley is the top pick but without the Busch twins they're not as formidable this year. UNI is running well and could contend to win only their second ever MVC title, their first was in 2000.
WSU is a pretty good pick at 3, they're running well and have good individuals, we'll see how their depth is.
Indiana State in 4th sounds right, but if we finally get a good meet from our 2-5 runners we could contend for a higher spot. Brooke Moore has been leading the way all season for us, and should make the all-MVC team again this year.
Loyola and Illinois State will be nipping at our heels for 4th, so we can't let up. After that Missouri State, Drake, Evansville, and SIU will fight it out for the last 4 spots.
