Some other names I thought may have been invited:

Pat Paschall RB, NDSU
Danny Batten DE/OLB, SDSU
Austen Steichen OL, UNI
Patrick Stoudamire DB, WIU
James Ruffin DE/OLB, UNI

I think most of them played in some type of post-season all star game (East-West Shrine, Senior Bowl...). I'm sure they will all get some type of look.

Tom, how many other FCS players were invited?

the three guys that i mentioned earlier are the only mvc guys here....

batten was not invited...i had that in my combine story that ran in today's paper.....he is still rated highly as a linebacker/defensive end...but he was a non-invitee.....

i think, overall, there is about 10 or so non-major college players here at the combine.....i-aa, division ii, division iii and naia people......there is like 330 total players here......

i have heard anything about pro days...

for the one or two sycamores who may have a chance to be a late draft pick or free agent.....

What's the etiquette of a State player going to a 'pro day' at gloomington, w. lafayette, mizzu, illinois, osu, etc?

if the player's agent clears it with the hosting school.....it happens all the time..

where a player from a smaller school will have a chance to run at a bigger school's pro day.....

but isu has their own pro day....we always had them there at the arena...at the indoor track area.....or before that we had them out at the stadium....or, depending on the weather, over at the old shook fieldhouse at rose-hulman....where scouts would come in....they would time and work out players.....one year we had one or two rose-hulman guys come out....

the outgoing seniors would do their thing...then the isu coaches would run the returning isu players through the same type of drills.....

OK -- had the impression from your earlier post that we weren't going to have a pro day...

One Morgan builds his indoor track facility; this becomes a very moot point

4q....misunderstanding on my part....

thought you were just meaning the potential pro prospects....like the safety......
