I don't like seeing Evansville to be honest about it. They really seemed to have our number in the two games. I realize we were beating them by 17 in both, but that means they outscored us by more than 17 the rest of the game. We'll have to go with the old "you can't beat us 3 times in the same season" routine. They shouldn't have beaten us once, let alone 3 times. That is what makes me nervous.

Any game makes me nervous, but I'd rather play Evansville than Creighton.

I agree totally. I hated seeing teams that I beat in close game first round of sectional as a coach. I would have much rather played a team that had beaten us that I felt we were even with or better than.

Sycamore51... I gotta ask.. what is the 51 for? It's the number of one of my favorite St. Louis Cardinals..

I hope we do play Eville. I can't imagine the players would want anyone other than Eville. I think we havel earned a lot from the previous two games that we can put to good use this last time.

As far as I'm concerned, we are not playing for a semi-final showing at the tournament. As the 3 seed, we should be playing for the championship. If we are worried about the 3/6 matchup, then we don't have a chance.

Bring on Evansville, and bring on Missouri State in the semi-finals. I would love another crack at MSU. I think we match up well with both of those teams. I will be quietly rooting for Wichita State in their last game with MSU.

The two teams that I think we've looked the worst against are Creighton and Wichita State. We've played them both closely (beating Creighton at home), but they've blown us out as well.
