If the season ended now. MVC only takes top 8 and the current top 8 have all clinched a spot in the field. The top 4 seeds do not have to play on the first day of the tournament. Locked seeds in bold.

1) ISU 20-5
2) UIC 16-9
3) Murray St 15-10 (swept UE)
4) Evansville 15-10
5) IL State 14-11
6) Belmont 12-13
7) SIU 11-14
8) MO State 10-15
E) Valpo and Bradley have both been eliminated (both are 6-19).

Possible clinches today:
1) UIC clinches #2 seed with a win (they're playing UE).
2) Murray State clinches #3 seed with win and UE loss.
3) MO State clinches #8 seed with a loss (they're playing SIU).
4) Evansville clinches #4 seed with a loss to UIC, a Murray State win, and an Illinois State loss.

Yeah 26th in the nation in ERA. Terrible. I am concerned about Cutts being wore down and Hayden coming back from illness. If those 2 guys come back to what they were, our weekend rotation is better than last year. At least it was about 2 weeks ago.

Really glad Bradley and Valpo won't be there with their 257 and 238 RPIs. Currently the worst RPIs in the field are SIU and Belmont at 166 and 160 so not complete grenades.

Dare I say if we sweep this tournament we could potentially be a top 8 seed? Which would be huge considering top 8 are guaranteed to host the Supers. We currently sit at #9 RPI.
