Your 25th ranked men's team and 17th ranked women's team are off to UNI to try to bring home not 1, but TWO MVC championships this weekend. The pre meet polls are not out yet, I suspect they'll be released today or tomorrow. The men have a good chance to be favored to win, while the women should be one of the favorites to win as well.

Should be a great meet.

There wil be live results as well as bloggers from the meet.

The meet runs Saturday and Sunday. Here is the tentative meet schedule

the teams made it to Cedar Falls late last night, so they're good to go, WSU also made it. Not sure about the other teams

updating Heptathlon and Pentathlon, Webb 5th in the LJ, and he threw a shot put PR on his 1st throw in that event

women's weight throw is underway, expecting major points from ISU in this event. The women's pentathlon is down to the 800, ISU athletes in 3rd, 6th, 11th places.

from twitter

Dawnielle Passmore (ISU) has new PR in weight throw (55'-2.25") to lead 1st flight. Second flight getting started.

Felisha Johnson with a throw over 74 feet on her 1st attempt in the women's weight throw, that will easily win her the title!

women's pentathlon is over, ISU athletes go 3-6-11, so valuable points for the women's team!
