And it's not going to change since most of the smaller colleges have idiots running them. Exhibit #1: Voting to let the high major's votes weigh more heavy than the mid major's votes.

Are there usually standard "out clauses" in these contracts that stipulate the amount needed to be paid in order to buy out the contract? Otherwise, why can't Loyola just decline the buyout?

Believe so and you know when these P5 schools sign them they know damn well they're not returning the trip.
