Another comment about the small crowd and low-energy at the stadium by the Dakota broadcasters. Basically saying that and the long bus ride from Indy this morning is to blame for the Bison slow start. Ok.

Yes, potential. Miles (or maybe specifically Shakir Bell) showed ISU football can win and draw crowds. Sanford showed us ISU can not only make the playoffs but also win playoff games on the road. I will admit it is a new day with NIL/pay to play and that the Dakotas are only getting better and better (and richer and richer). But if you consider SIU and ILSU peer institutions (I do, and we better given they're regional public schools in the MoVal just like ISU) then there is clearly a formula for football success and modern stadiums. If you want to consider EIU and USI peer institutions then it is time to drop to the OVC/Big South or whatever it will be in the coming years.

Just throwing your hands up and saying "the alumni won't build a stadium so we're stuck" isn't leadership. And as to Bradley specifically, look at the emails between him and Prettyman that Golden FOIA'd back then and that will tell you all you need to know. It's clear his finger was never anywhere near the pulse of ISU football.

Not buying your snake oil -- crunching the ##s, home attendance DECLINED over the last 3 years of Miles's tenure / Bell Era, how is that potential explained?

Sanford lit out as soon as possible, where are he and his son today, explain that potential

Yes, Ill State and SIU-C are ISU's peers; doesn't mean ISU can support, afford FCS football

EIU is closer to ISU as a peer than ISU-E will ever be; no ISU should NOT move to the sinking ship that is the OVC

Hate

i thought it was smart. 3rd-16 on the 30ish ndsu had a timeout. No need to go in 17-7. 3rd and 2 on the plus 40 is a whole different story. Also this game may never resume
It was 2nd and 14 from the 31. You at least run one more play. At least act like you’re trying to win the game. It was telling that even the players seemed upset with the decision

In the car. Lots of folks have departed. May be a majority of NDSU fans when the game resumes, assuming it resumes as 105.5 is playing country music.

Weather tends to give an underdog a better chance. We shall see.
