Has Indiana State every signed a 3 star football recruit. The 2013 signing class has 3 of them and we have a shot at a couple others I believe. The new staff is absolutely crushing it.

The Rivals era is from 2002 on. :shocked:

Very impressive! Was Fouch 2 stars? On another note they mentioned the 6'8" 350 lb OL we nabbed started playing football as a Sophomore and only benched 160 then. They said last night he can press 400 lbs now.... AT 6'8"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've noticed they have been heavy on kids that look like they can play right away on both sides of the ball. Three 3 star recruits ... a kid who is listed as the #20 all purpose back in the country?! An Aussie punter? More to come?! Amazing.

Fouch was a 3-star, but he was a transfer. This is strictly for recruiting classes.
 
That is awesome and incredibly exciting. We're landing some of these guys late, too, which is all the more impressive.
 
Sanford has certainly erased any worries I had about his ability to recruit. Now, if he can coach, we might just be able to take that next step!!!!

It's even more incredible when you look at who else was recruiting them, according to Rivals:

Davis: Offers from Minnesota, Akron and Cincinnati, not to mention Eastern Illinois
Kaleopaa: (almost too long to list) California, Arizona, Arkansas, Hawaii, Ole Miss, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, Colorado (as you mentioned)
Thuman: Offers from our conference rivals Western Illinois and Illinois State

Great job by the coaching staff to convince these guys and the rest of our recruits to be Sycamores!
