when Trent took over, you recruit as many guys as you can to help stem the tide. As you improve and your program/record gets better, you begin to recruit a higher quality of player/athlete. When that happens, guys who were brought in early on in the process may find themselves battling for practice time and playing time in games. That's just a nature of the business. You'd like to keep as many of your early recruits as you can since they were the ones who initially believed in your system and what you are doing. They were part of the building blocks of the new program. But sometimes that doesn't happen. They often get frustrated and decide to hang it up or transfer out.
